@jemostrom that’s a good question. It’s been a while since I lived here in Bishkek for the winter, so I’m not sure. When I lived in a village, I basically remember not seeing any cats for the whole winter. I guess they find somewhere to hide and try to stay there, but not sure what they eat. Cats in Bishkek might be the same, except that people are more likely to feed or help them. I do know that since I’ve been here, I’ve gone to a restaurant and a coffee shop where a cat entered multiple times 😂 I don’t remember the weather being particularly cold then, so maybe it was just for food
