July 28, 2021 - a package of qurut (курут) that I saw in a supermarket. I had this snack before while I was in China, courtesy of a couple of international students. It tasted kind of milky and chalky to me. It’s not my favorite, but I do want to try it again. I just thought this particular qurut was interesting because it seems odd to buy only one ball of qurut by itself as opposed to multiple at a time (you can even see in the picture that there is another package of qurut with multiple inside).
